Terms and conditions

The rules for using Dangle, its website, and Adopt a charm.

Dangle is made by Niranjan, India ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Dangle app for Windows and Android, the website at dangle.niranjand.in, and everything on it. By using them you agree to these terms. Questions: supportdangle@gmail.com.

The Dangle app

The app is free to download and use. It is provided as it is, without any warranty, and we may change, update or stop it at any time. You may not resell or redistribute the app, its charm artwork or this website without written permission.

Adopt a charm

Adopt a charm is a way to support Dangle. When you adopt a charm, you pay a one-time amount and in return the name you choose is shown on that charm: on the website straight away, and in the Dangle app from its next update. That is the whole of what you receive.

  • Each charm can be adopted by one person only. The first payment to go through gets it.
  • Adopting does not give you ownership of the charm, its artwork or any rights in Dangle, and it does not unlock features. Everyone can still use every charm for free.
  • The price is shown in Indian rupees before you pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
  • Names must be your own name or a nickname, a dedication, or another kind name. We may refuse or change a name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone, or contains links or advertising. If we refuse a name before it is shown, we refund you in full.
  • If a charm is ever taken out of the app, your name stays on the website's list of adopters, and we will offer to move it to another charm of the same price.

Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.

Gift a charm

Sending a gift is free. A gift is a link that holds the charm, the names and the note you typed. Please don't use gifts to send anything hurtful, illegal or misleading. Anyone who has the link can open it.

Suggest a charm

When you suggest a charm, you let us use the idea and any picture you send to make a charm. We are not obliged to make it, and making it does not entitle you to payment.

Characters and trademarks

Some charms are fan tributes to characters, teams and people. Their names and marks belong to their owners. Dangle is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. If you own a mark and want a charm removed, write to supportdangle@gmail.com.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect loss from using Dangle or this website. For Adopt a charm, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that adoption.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
